About Us

Nehiyaw Hustle Clothing was started by Shawn and Cynthia Peekeekoot, from Ahtahkakoop First Nation in the year 2020. After working for other organizations and businesses we thought it was time to be our own boss and create a brand that supported other Nehiyaw that are out there working hard for their families and become examples to other wanting to embark on the same path and become the leaders of the future that is needed for our youth today.

My fellow Nehiyaw brothers and sisters,

I stand before you today to talk about the importance of hustle in our lives. The Nehiyaw Hustle.

As Indigenous peoples, we have faces and continue to face many challenges in our communities. But despite these difficulties, we have always found way's to persevere and make a better life for ourselves and our families.

The Nehiyaw Hustle is about more than just working hard. It's about the determination, resilience, and the resourcefulness that we bring to everything we do. 

It's about taking the skills and strengths that we have, and using them to create opportunities for ourselves and our communities. It's about seeing the potential in ourselves and others, and working together to make that potential a reality.

We are facing a critical time in our history as Indigenous peoples, and we need the Nehiyaw Hustle more than ever. Its time to come together as a community, to support one another and to work towards a common goal. With the Nehiyaw Hustle, we can overcome any obstacle, we can achieve anything we set our mind to.

So I ask you to embrace the Nehiyaw Hustle, and to believe in yourself and to believe in the power of our community. Together we make a better future for our children's children. Let us remember our ancestors and the struggles they went through, and let us use their strength to inspire us to keep moving forward and to make a positive impact in the world.

Let's make the Nehiyaw Hustle a way of life, and make our dreams a reality.
